Welcome to the Sioux Valley web page. My name is Dave Higgs and I teach Physical Education for Sioux Valley school. I have been teaching in Sioux Valley for the last seven years. Starting off in the gym and then going to grades 5 and 6 and then this year returning to the gym. As the credits show, I also have a hobby which is computers and I have helped design and build this web page.
Sioux Valley School sports teams participate in the Fort-La-Bosse school division and the ITSA school competition program. ITSA stands for Inter-Tribal Sports Assoc. We are five Band Run schools that compete in sports against one another. We have competed in this League for almost ten years now and have been very competitive.
I run a positive, yet challenging Phys. Ed program. One that allows the children to succeed in all areas of the activities. Weither it be mentally, physically, or emotionally.
